The institute aims to provide trained, qualified, technical person in the field of Radio Imaging, Medical Science to sup-port the medical profession. The objective of the para-medical science education programme is to ensure that educational opportunity for development of skills. the emphasis of the Radio Imaging, Medical Science education pro-gramme is on getting employed in government or in private sector and developing a cadre of small entrepreneurs, especially from amongst girls, women, sc/st and rural youth as well. So, this programme conceived as "Total employment training for total development", fo-cuses on the concept of turning the unskilled to the skilled.

In this respect it is pertinent to note that the society today is the doorstep of a global challenge. As a nation we have gone ahead in may respects. But there are still areas, which demand attention, care and concern. The area identified by our think tank is "Global standards in Radio Imaging, Medical Science and training". The area of Radio Imaging, Medical Science to enable our training programme to meet the global challenge. Our experience and outreach in providing technical education is well accepted. The mix of Radio Imaging, Medical Science and technology on with the higher learning strategies of the competing world is our focus at present.
